Video Surveillance Policy

To prevent theft and vandalism in common areas (parking, bicycle/stroller storage, entrance hall, elevators, garden access), the residence is equipped with a video surveillance system operating 24/7. This system complies with current regulations to ensure the privacy protection of residents.

Use and Access to Footage

Recorded footage is stored for a maximum of one month.

  • Footage is only reviewed in case of a confirmed incident (vandalism, assault, break-in, etc.).

  • Access to footage is strictly limited to the property manager (syndic) and members of the co-owners' council.

Privacy Protection

Apartments (doors, windows, balconies, terraces) are NOT filmed.

Information signs are clearly displayed at key locations:

  • Entrance hall

  • Mailbox area

  • Intercom panel

  • Garage gate

These signs specify:

  • The purpose of the system (safety of persons and property)

  • The retention period of the footage

  • Contact details of the Data Protection Officer (DPO)

  • Residents' rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
