Video Surveillance Policy
To prevent theft and vandalism in common areas (parking, bicycle/stroller storage, entrance hall, elevators, garden access), the residence is equipped with a video surveillance system operating 24/7. This system complies with current regulations to ensure the privacy protection of residents.
Use and Access to Footage
Recorded footage is stored for a maximum of one month.
Footage is only reviewed in case of a confirmed incident (vandalism, assault, break-in, etc.).
Access to footage is strictly limited to the property manager (syndic) and members of the co-owners' council.
Privacy Protection
Apartments (doors, windows, balconies, terraces) are NOT filmed.
Information signs are clearly displayed at key locations:
Entrance hall
Mailbox area
Intercom panel
Garage gate
These signs specify:
The purpose of the system (safety of persons and property)
The retention period of the footage
Contact details of the Data Protection Officer (DPO)
Residents' rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
